Generally, we upload big files on our FTP server and send the link to our customers. I tried this FTP link on external network as well and the file started downloading instantly. I would suggest you to try on any other browser like Chrome or try using FileZilla.
“Access is denied” when I click “Support” folder from FileZilla. details like below:
Status: Resolving address of http://ftp.componentone.com
Status: Connecting to 220.127.116.11:21…
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message…
Status: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.
Status: Server does not support non-ASCII characters.
Status: Retrieving directory listing of “/SupportFTP/Public/Ashish/ActiveAnalysis_982.zip”…
Status: Server sent passive reply with unroutable address. Using server address instead.
Status: Directory listing of “/” successful
Status: Retrieving directory listing of “/Support”…
Command: CWD /Support
Response: 550 /Support: Access is denied.
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
I have shared the FTP credentials through the support ticket 102488.
I have shared the file via OneDrive.
I tried the same with my personal email ID and received a mail that a file has been shared. Didn’t you recieve any mail on your email id i.e. email@example.com from Microsoft Online Services regarding the file ?
Also, can you try to open the following link in Chrome and let me know if it works for you ?
I have not received any email from Microsoft Online Services regarding the file you shared with me.
and I cannot open the the link in chrome.
I can send login info to you if you want to try login my personal Microsoft Account to check.
and it is possible call me or “go to meeting”, I think this is easy way to figure out the problem.
Thank you for sharing the FTP credetials with us.
However, I have lately received an update from the QA team that the build in discussion has some critical issues and cannot be provided to any of our customer.
I deeply regret that the respective build cannot be provided to you as it might result in some other issues at your end.
This issue needs a complex fix and unfortunately, it would take some more time. I would keep you posted as I recieve any further update from the development team.
As mentioned earlier, the fix is not a simple one and would require major changes. The developers did try to incorporate the fix but that resulted in some critical issues which may hamper other existing users.
Hence, I regret to mention but I do not have any ETA as of now.
